NIA is a nonprofit talent solution company that produces high performing candidates for today’s workforce.
By 2020, Millennials will make up 50 percent of the workforce and by 2025, that percent will increase to 75 percent. Currently, there are more than 80 million Millennials (Gen Y) who have significant influence as the largest generation in the workforce. However, a swarm of Millennials doesn’t always mean a swarm of employable talent. Competition between businesses to appeal to high-performing, capable young professionals has accelerated dramatically as employers struggle to find people with the right combination of entry-level and soft skills to fill their jobs.
We recruit students, assess each candidate’s Social and Emotional Intelligence and build on vulnerable areas in order to prepare each with the soft skills required to be considered top talent.
Following this monitored process, in which students earn stripes from NIA for each completed activity, we match students to the most appropriate positions and corporate cultures using a proprietary app powered by Career Match IQ.

Empower: Career Skills Assessment
Once a student sets-up their basic profile in the I AM Top Talent app, they are seamlessly directed to take our Career Match Assessment. This tool helps them identify their natural strengths and abilities and we use this information to serve up the career paths they demonstrate a propensity to be the most successful in.
Social Emotional Intelligence Profile
The SEIP is the most comprehensive assessment that measures 26 distinct indicators of social and emotional intelligence. This profile allows candidates to instantly see their strengths and potential vulnerabilities as it relates to social and emotional intelligence and is available online as well as in paper and pencil booklet versions. The output is complete with practical suggestions on how an individual can strengthen and enhance his/her social and emotional intelligence.

Educate: eLearning Courses & Ex-Conferences
With the I AM TOP TALENT app, students can take advantage of eLearning courses at their own pace and in their own space. eLearning curriculum allows candidates to build on opportunity areas as outlined in their SEIP. Courses are interactive and include videos, group discussion, online chats and social media integration in order to encourage a community of learning and accountability.
Ex-Conferences are highly interactive experiential live conferences where participants learn and apply methods to help improve themselves. Ex-Conferences allow candidates to confront complex and sensitive personal and professional issues and offer a take-home toolkit and group coaching sessions to follow up on how participants have been able to form new habits.
Engage: Coaching & Learning Communities
NIA’s eLearning course sequences and Ex-Conferences are followed by a 40-Day Coaching Challenge. NIA’s transformational coaches will lead participants through a step-by-step process where they receive group coaching on how to address the biggest barriers to personal growth and career success – Anger, Guilt, Shame, Resentment, Fear, Apathy and Judgement.

We then help each student engage in and learn about the types of employment opportunities – that match their strengths - opening them to a world of career possibilities. We match college students to companies that they are the best match for - across 15 critical hiring dimensions including corporate culture - for internships, co-op programs, and entry level positions.
